MEGAN SLADEK
HONORABLE MAYOR
Mrs. Sladek is a native of Oviedo with a passion for integrating history into everyday life. She is the broker and owner of a small consulting company located in Oviedo and founder of The Oviedo Preservation Project, a non-profit dedicated to helping preserve Oviedo’s historic places and traditions. Megan holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the University of Florida, and she has also studied at UCF, Seminole State, and Sacred Heart College in Kochi, India. Active in her church and the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Sladek values the role that community organizations and small businesses play in shaping Oviedo. Mrs. Sladek lives in the oldest structure in Oviedo (a converted church built in 1880) with her husband, Paul, their three children, and a long-haired calico rescue cat.
